Vinyl re-fresh is the number one choice to revitalize dated sheet vinyl decking. Modernize and rejuvenate the appearance of your vinyl decking membrane with our proprietary blend of PVC and Elastomeric resins.
Modern Colour Choices: vinyl re-fresh comes in a satin finish and can be tinted to any of our six color choices; or custom tint to any mid tone/medium tint base formula. Check the integrity of your sheet vinyl. Pay close attention to the seams, around the posts and up against the building. Any cuts, tears or loose seams must be mended prior to coating.
Please note: vinyl re-fresh is not a waterproofing application for vinyl decking but a way to make your deck look fresh. Any pattern that you once had on your vinyl will now be a solid colour. vinyl re-fresh may not be suitable for all sheet vinyl.

What should I do to prepare my deck for painting with Vinyl Re-Fresh?
Inspect the deck thoroughly paying special attention to overlap seams, around posts, cuts and tears that might be in your vinyl surface. The overlaps should be sound and any repairs should be made before beginning application of Vinyl Re-Fresh. Thoroughly clean the vinyl with The Duke all purpose cleaner and degreaser mixed 10 to 1 with hot water. Use a stiff bristle broom to agitate then rinse with copious amounts of water, let dry completely.
Do I need to have the Vinyl Re-Fresh tinted? Why?
Yes. Ducan Vinyl Re-Fresh must be tinted according to the colour chart provided to the retailer by us. Other colours in the pastel range can be chosen with the help of the sales associate but Ducan cannot guarantee or warranty the performance of the product with these alterations.
Can Vinyl Re-Fresh be tinted to darker colours than the ones on the brochure?
Yes, but the addition of more pigment than recommended in our colour charts can alter the formula and Ducan cannot guarantee or warranty the performance of the product with these modifications.
How many coats of Vinyl Re-Fresh must I put on my vinyl decking?
2 coats of Ducan Vinyl Re-Fresh are required on a first time application. Follow up maintenance coats should be applied every 2 to 3 years, 1 coat is required at this time.
How long before I can use my deck after painting it with Vinyl Re-Fresh?
Let the application dry 2 to 4 hours between coats. Allow 24 to 48 hours to cure before permitting traffic on the surface and placement of furniture.
What do I use to clean up after painting my deck with Vinyl Re-Fresh?
Ducan Vinyl Re-Fresh is water soluble so all that is necessary is warm water and dish soap to clean up your tools and hands.
Can Vinyl-Dek be tinted to a darker colour?

When applying Ducan Vinyl-Dek as a maintenance coat over previously painted surfaces one coat is recommended, a second coat can be added if desired.
When applying Ducan Vinyl-Dek on untreated surfaces such as concrete, masonry, stucco or brick, two coats are required on the initial application.
How long before I can use my deck after painting it with Vinyl-Dek?
Let the application dry 3 to 4 hours between coats. Wait 24 hours before putting furniture back on the deck. Allow only light traffic for the first 14 days.
